As a football player at Brigham Young University, and then later in the NFL for the New Orleans Saints and the Seattle Seahawks, Mike Keim struggled to find restaurants that could quickly serve healthy, flavorsome meals. Mike was on a continual quest for fast food that not only tasted good but that was also good for him.
Mikeâ€™s quest for this combination was finally settled when he and his wife, Tiffany, opened the first Teriyaki Grill in 1997. Teriyaki Grill was built around Mikeâ€™s belief that fast food can and should be both nutritious and satisfying. Adhering to Mikeâ€™s orders, Teriyaki Grill serves only hand-trimmed meats, along with salads and vegetables that are fresh cut daily and we do not deep-fry anything on the menu.
